Oil Capability

Test method is to add 20% silicone emulsifier to 80% solvent, and stir properly till it's even for the processing. Per the test results, most solvents used in formulation are capable of working together with silicone emulsifiers.

Emulsion Particle Size

This index shows the smoothness of skin feeling, by using 80% water, 15% cyclopentasiloxane (SQ-SIL D105) and 5% silicone emulsifiers (3 types tested separately), it is easy to figure out SQ-SE1038>SQ-SE1200>SQ-SE1090 on the slippery or smoothness.

Thickening Ability

Using 20g white mineral oil and 10g silicone emulsifiers, adding aqua from 0 gram to 40 grams, SQ-SE1090 has excellent thickening ability, while SQ-SE1038 is suitable for low viscosity formulation.
